9:15 Whole-school assembly in cafeteria
Principal’s welcome
Gift giving (Gifts should be nicely wrapped.)
Performance #1: song in Japanese
Performance #2: Evergreen, Ever Blue
All sing the Thoreau School song
Conclusion (principal)
10:00-10:20 Tour of school, observe classes in session, inc. technology
(P4 class in music at 10:00- Japanese recorder song)
10:25-10:45 Classroom activity (20 minutes)
10:50-11:10 Classroom activity (20 minutes)
11:15 Bus to Walden Pond
11:30-1:00 Walden Pond
1:30-2:00 Back to Thoreau. Lunch: pizza for Gr. 5; PTG lunch for visitors
